The team, that you will be a part of, will be working with Strategy, Business Development, Global and local Account Management and Marketing, covering a broad range of expertise to drive the business forward and support our customers as well as our colleagues in the DFDS Group.

About the role

Continent Sales Manager is a senior position based in The Netherlands or Germany but mostly hybrid. You will be responsible for developing business for significant customers within our global sales team. In line with the business strategy and defined targets, your focus will be selling and improving logistics solutions to one of our major accounts, within the Cold chain segment. You will also build long-lasting competence and develop service offerings within the group.

The role reports to Jakob Nordborg, Head of Commercial Cold Chain Europe, located in Denmark. There are no direct reports in this role.

About you

We`d like you to have several years’ experience from a similar role within logistics and supply chain preferably in the wide context of the cold chain / transport. To become successful in the role you should also have a commercial background and a proven, successful, sales track record for delivering excellent sales results to strategic customers.

We are looking for a person with a strong personal drive and ability to create trustful relationships. An entrepreneurial spirit and opportunity driven person that is good at establishing customer relationships will have great chance to succeed in this role.

English is a prerequisite and German would be an advantage, and we expect you to be streetwise, a hunter, political (internal and external) and tenacious.  

Main market focus will be Germany, The Netherlands and Belgium. Since you will be working in an international context, travelling will be required.
