We are looking for an experienced team leader with a passion for managing others. It is important that you are a good communicator as you will work close with our operational team locally and DFDS offices in UK and on the continent. As a part of the role you will speak with customers and subcontractors face to face, therefore good customer service skills are a must to be successful in this position. You will be expected to record and share Customer KPI’s, both internally (through our internal management teams) and externally.
At DFDS, we are looking for someone who can be flexible and adaptable to business needs.
The Team Lead for Operations responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
Lead and support the local team
Maintain close dialog with the operational DFDS teams abroad to ensure good collaboration
Have contact with subcontracted and 3d part hauliers
Follow up invoicing / cost registration in time for month closure
