Business and Operations Import - Full Loads

We are passionate about delivering an excellent service to our customers & following one of our colleagues advancing to a new role within the business we are looking for a suitable person to focus on our Import – Full Load customers.

We are seeking an individual who has experience, in either a freight forwarding or customer service role within logistics. You need to be driven by process improvements, able to work in a dynamic and fluid environment, meeting deadlines. Main responsibilities of the role:

• Responsible for ensuring all customers receive an excellent level of service.
• Create customer orders manually and via local digital portals
• Work closely with planning teams to ensure customer expectations are met
• Book in deliveries and manage inbound volumes
• Relationship building with customers and colleagues
• General problem solving and solution finding for customers
• Ensure daily invoicing and administrative tasks are completed
• Understanding of customs procedures for importing trailers into the UK
• Follow up customer queries for their shipments
• Collaboration with operational and transport teams
• Use digitalisation tools to automate manual processes
• Understanding customers’ requirements and offer further solutions / alternative when required
• Ability to work under pressure within a dynamic and vibrant logistics office
• Work well within a team and support colleagues where necessary
