Role description

An exciting role within the Sales team has come available in Hamburg, Germany. As Internal Sales Representative you’ll be focused on communicating with current customers and reaching out to potential new customers.

You will be part of a the German Logistics team based in Hamburg, helping to communicating with current and folling up on the needs and requirements of potential new customers, specifically for the German market across all our logistics routes. The role involves look after and expand the customer base in your assigned sales area in cooperation with the sales team.. You will be responsible for arranging appointments for Managers and Field Sales Team. A fantastic opportunity to further your marketing career and focus specifically within the social media and email marketing disciplines.

Principle responsibilities

  • look after and expand the customer base in your assigned sales area in cooperation with the field sales team.
  • Be responsible for arranging appointments for the field sales team and other Business Development Managers
  • process sales leads from the tele-sales area and independently conduct telephone sales talks for up-/cross-selling according to your specifications
  • ensure the support of our customers through administrative activities, such as master data maintenance, preparation of sales statistics and offers or calculations of the effects of price changes, etc.
  • document your activities in our CRM system

Skills, experience, education

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or a comparable course of study in Germany
  • motivated and experienced colleagues to support our field sales team in acquiring new customers as well as supporting and developing our existing customers
  • initial professional experience in sales and/or commercial activities in the Transport and Logistics industry
  • Must be fluent (written and verbal) in German and English
  • Well-developed communication skills, persuasiveness, negotiating skills and sales talent
  • Be a team player, ambitious and customer-oriented
  • have good knowledge in the use of the MS Office package
