We are looking for a Customer Services Coordinator to join our current team to help with new and existing traffic flows, whilst maintaining a seamless service. Our business has been evolving and we’re looking to expand our bookings team at the Port of Rosslare. If you’re looking for a 9-5 Monday to Friday desk job, this isn’t the role for you. Our operations run constantly so we need you to be flexible as you will be working 40 hours a week. This will be across 5 days from seven each week, and includes days, & evenings. If you have a gregarious nature, but enjoy working as part of a dedicated team, willing to take responsibility and make informed decisions, then we want to hear from you.


You’ll need to be customer focussed to deal with any general enquiries quickly and efficiently to continue the great service we already deliver. You’ll be communicating with customers by phone & email to place bookings for cargo movements and passengers, from Rosslare and Dunkirk, so we are looking for someone with a professional telephone manner. Uploading of dangerous goods information onto our systems is part of the role, so a good level of IT skills is a prerequisite, as we need you to be accurate & able to work with a variety of systems – don’t worry, we don’t expect you to have system knowledge, as our team will train you on our inhouse programs.

Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a customer facing/service role, with the ability to multitask, with different customers and different queries, working in the heart of logistics. All culminating in safeguarding and enhancing the service level offered by DFDS and surpassing our client expectations. It’s a full-on busy role, so if you’re looking for a challenge where every day is different, this is the job for you!
