Automation (Website) Digital Marketing Specialist

If so, then you could be the newest addition to our team as Automation (Website) Digital Marketing Specialist.  

It is important you can demonstrate experience with Content Management Systems/website or content management. Alongside experience of Google analytics or equivalent.

About the role

Within the role you will:


  • Work within our CMS to maintain & optimise our DFDS.com passenger websites.
  • Contribute to the different agile route teams, as well as project-based teams.
  • Reporting on website and commercial metrics.
  • Drive the business to deliver on annual conversion rate, lead generation & revenue targets with other KPI’s.
  • You will specialise on defined digital marketing channels to optimise performance, but you’ll need to have the flexibility to support across the full digital marketing mix when required.
  • You will be working to support the Head of Automation Marketing & Automation Marketing Managers to execute initiatives & activities across the entire marketing mix,
  • Managing the production of copy, photography & video for the websites and channel marketing teams.
  • Lead on selected projects as and when needed.


What kind of exciting challenges can you expect to meet in this role?:  

Alongside experience of Google analytics or equivalent. Ideally you will have 2+ years of marketing experience, but although this is not absolutely essential, you will have a sound understanding & awareness of digital marketing tools, reporting suites and constantly strive to stay on top of latest tech and trends.

The ideal person for this position will have the following qualifications:   

  • Skilled marketing professional with 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing
  • Experience and/or keen interest in content marketing across various channels
  • Knowledge and deep understanding of the German travel industry
  • Must be fluent (written and verbal) in German and English
  • Well-developed project management skills
  • Analytical
  • Creative & innovative
  • Energetic, passionate & disciplined
  • Marketing or Business degree or professional marketing qualification desirable
