Do you have experience within a marketing & analytics role? Are you logically minded with effective communication & presentation skills? Have you thorough knowledge and understanding of the insights industry?

Role requirements (essential);

  • The role will be based in Newcastle, supporting our routes across the Global entity, with the opportunity to travel once or twice a year
  • You will be responsible for responding to insight requests efficiently, communicating effectively with stakeholders throughout the business
  • You will have the ability to use raw data to produce meaningful reports using data visualisation tools
  • The capability to understand and interpret data to return actionable insight is essential
  • The role will include supporting Customer Satisfaction reporting, highlighting the key insights available whilst making recommendations for improvement.
  • You will have a strong understanding of Digital Marketing and other functional areas of a Marketing Department
  • You will have strong presentation skills with the capability to engage your audience
  • The ability to manage and prioritise workload is essential

Role requirements (desired);

  • You should be knowledgeable in qualitative and quantitative research and support on ad hoc research projects
  • You should have the capability to build surveys using appropriate logic to capture the insight required for specific requests
  • You will be keen to support Competitor Analysis across the Global entity

You will be working Mon – Fri and be a team player, who can apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance, working across all marketing functions to ensure insights are effectively integrated and implemented.

To thrive in this team, we are looking for an individual who is proactive and passionate about insights, customer data, breaking down the numbers to drive this forward, using your advanced understanding of marketing channel analysis. We seek someone with experience in various data preparation, blending tools & data visualisation, preferably within Tableau & Alteryx. DFDS are looking to employ the right applicant, to support the implementation of tools & strategies, to extract and translate raw data into valuable analytics, to give definition to the company wide metrics. Resulting in recommendations for the passenger marketing organisation and the wider passenger business.
