Digital Marketing Specialist – Engagement Marketing

 An exciting role within the Engagement Marketing team has come available in Hamburg, Germany. As Digital Marketing Specialist you’ll focus on the email marketing, app communications, influencer and social media disciplines of digital marketing. 

About the role  

Be part of the movement - and play your part.   

 You will be part of a European wide team of Engagement Specialists, helping to drive direct digital engagement activity specifically for the German market across all our passenger routes. The role involves analysing, optimising and reporting on engagement marketing channels to improve overall sentiment, customer retention and acquisition. You will also work together with other Marketing Specialists to achieve the performance forecasts for routes across all key passenger markets. A fantastic opportunity to further your marketing career and focus specifically within the social media and email marketing disciplines.

What kind of exciting challenges can you expect to meet in this role?: 

• Brief, execute and optimise communications primarily, but not limited to, social media, email marketing, influencer marketing and app communications
• Research and keep up to date with the latest social media and email marketing trends
• Approach all tasks with a test and learn mentality
• Work closely with the rest of the team to support the execution of campaign driven activity
• Regular use of digital marketing tools such as Emplifi, Iterable, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics etc.
• Ongoing development of all engagement marketing activities working closely with managers for continued improvement

About you

The ideal person for this position will have the following qualifications:   

• Skilled marketing professional with 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing, including email marketing
• Experience and/or keen interest in social media marketing across various channels
• Knowledge and deep understanding of the German travel industry
• Must be fluent (written and verbal) in German and English
• Well-developed project management skills
• Analytical
• Creative & innovative
• Energetic, passionate & disciplined
• Marketing or Business degree or professional marketing qualification desirable
