DFDS is on an exciting journey within the area of pricing and revenue growth and we are looking for an experienced Product Manager who wants to join us in our efforts to continuously improve our capabilities within this domain.

The position has its home in the Pricing and Revenue department which exist in the intersection between the Freight and Passenger business of DFDS and the Technology & Innovation Division. The purpose of the department is to create tools, recommendations, and insights, which elevates our colleagues’ abilities to make the right commercial decisions within pricing and growing revenue.

 

Can you manage a variety of projects and ensure that they create value for DFDS?

Our department is a mix of strong business acumen, pricing knowledge and competences within data science and data engineering. In the role as product manager, you will work closely together with a range of different specialists as well as people representing various areas of the DFDS business. The ability to build a bridge between domain specialists and representatives from the freight and passenger business is crucial to meet the quality requirements of the projects.

As a Product Manager you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the different pricing and revenue projects in the department, as well as anticipating future needs which will enhance the value creation of our work.

As our department not only hands over tools and solutions for this business, but also owns them, part of the job is also to take responsibility of the full life cycle of our different tools together with the head of the Revenue Analytics department.

 

Key responsibilities are

Owning the vision for reports and tools within pricing, capacity management, and revenue growth, as well as responsible for managing the individual projects.

  • Anticipate current and future needs when it comes to creating value for our users
  • Develop short-term and long-term objectives together with key stakeholders
  • Ensure timely delivery of objectives
  • Manage a portfolio of projects and outline how success is achieved.

 

The ideal candidate

As you will be involved with a wide range of projects and stakeholders a talent for structure and managing processes is vital. Your profile probably meets the following criteria

  • Experience as a product manager, project manager or product owner.
  • Prior experience from translating user needs into tangible solutions and how to break this down into a project structure and deliverables.
  • Adept in managing stakeholders.
