Finance Business Partner

Our business is growing and following an internal promotion we have a vacancy for a Finance Business Partner to join our team in Peterborough and support us with this growth.

Utilising strong interpersonal skills, you will be working closely with the relevant stakeholders within Cold Chain. You will have overall responsibility for the Business Units accounting function, provide guidance & leadership for the Finance & Accounting strategy, resulting in the optimisation of the company’s financial performance and strategic position. We will expect you to display sound financial thinking and direction, assisting managers of the BU to understand their figures and the impact they can have on them. Ensuring that the company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, acquisitions, and disposals are met as appropriate, as well as the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are fulfilled. You’ll be accountable for producing timely and high-quality analysis, contracts, tenders, and be involved with various projects. Ensuring forecasting & budgeting processes are conducted and reviewed along the way including Capex.

Primarily, you need to possess strong analytical and numerical abilities, on top of a structured, reliable character, who is proficient in planning, executing and prioritising activities. Possessing effective communication skills, you’ll have the ability to build and manage strong working relationships with various departments, colleagues, and external parties alike, in a positive, pragmatic, and collaborative way. Personality wise, we’re looking for a professional who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo at all levels of our organisation.
