If so, our Transport Operator position based in Peterborough could be a great opportunity for you.

Working 06:00 - 18:00, with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, this role offers you the opportunity to drive improvement towards delivering a first-class service to our customers whilst ensuring all deliveries and collections are on time. Having experience in a fast-paced environment, you will be working closely with the drivers, planning, warehouse & outlying depots to co-ordinate the transport operation. Customer service is at the heart of DFDS and so it is important that you are able to engage and actively build relationships with our customers to ensure repeat business.

Maintaining professionalism, you will do your utmost to make sure all operational movements are completed on time and to the customers satisfaction, all monitored through robust KPI’s. Furthermore, having international CPC and experience in the transport industry would be a benefit to this role, however for the right candidate, there will be training opportunities provided. Being eager to learn, there will also be the opportunity to support the Transport Managers & wider teams with compliance related activities.
