For our Customer Engagement Tribe in DFDS we are looking for a Customer Data Architect to take the responsibility for the data architecture landscape of the sales and marketing domain and oversee key technical and design decisions through to implementation.
In this role, you will take ownership of our customer data flows, conceive of, architect, and guide implementation of solutions that enable us to execute on sophisticated, personalized, and technically challenging marketing strategies across multiple business units.
This will entail not only the responsibility of ensuring a clearly purposed architecture, accounting for the customer lifecycle and data-collection points, but also communicating needs to developers and other specialists and, together with the Product Owner, mediating between people with different mindsets and agendas, to make sure the right needs are met.
The tasks and responsibilities you would hold look something like this:
How would you fit in?
We want someone with an intuitive understanding of the customer lifecycle, who enjoys solving the complex puzzles of fitting innovative usages of data together with the needs of the business while taking organizational maturity and compliance into account.
You will maintain a strong understanding of the bigger picture, keeping yourself continuously informed of the latest innovations, technologies, patterns and practices in data warehousing, data pipelining, experience orchestration and automation in general.
A pragmatic and commercial mindset, a willingness to mediate between technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as a desire to architect, measure, and learn is a must along with the ability to think ahead and understand overall business contexts and strategies.
