Our Passenger Organization is now looking for a Groups Sales Manager to join our Global Sales & Customer Care team to strengthen the market further.
About the role
Our Sales Development team are responsible for making travel offers and subsequent bookings for our conference and private group customers on our Oslo-Frederikshavn-Copenhagen route. The team look after our customers from start to end so a keen eye for detail, friendly persona and can-do attitude is very important.
As Group Sales Manager you will be an active part of the team, i.e., ensure that approx. 75% of your time is ‘production time’, you will constantly optimize internal as well as external sales processes. This will ensure your team can work smarter with reduced manual work and thereby growing efficiency. All while continuously monitoring budget vs. actual numbers and make sure that activities are in place to close potential gaps. To excel in these tasks, you will have to collaborate closely particularly with Field Sales and wider Sales Operations teams but also with all other stakeholders including finance, product and revenue management internally, and MICE, Travel Agents, Tour Operators, Event Specialists externally to name some.
Some of your key responsibilities would be:
Location – Either our office at the port terminal in central Oslo, Vippetangen, or our brand-new HQ in Copenhagen. You will report to Head of Sales Operation.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in people and strong people skills, has a willingness and ability to be agile, flexible and self-motivated and is strong in processes and optimisation You must be a strong believer in feedback as a tool to develop, with a personality that challenges status quo and sees change as a natural way of developing a business as well as a person.
You must have a structured way of working with good planning and excellent customer service skills.
You ideally have quality, relevant experience from a similar role, and it is an advantage if you have experience from working within the travel industry.
