Marketing Campaign Manager Germany

An exciting role withing passenger marketing is now available. As a Campaign Manager it is your responsibility to maximize the share of German passengers across our passenger routes. You will work closely with our Route Marketing teams and Marketing Functions to optimize all our activity across the German market. You will coordinate, advise and secure alignment of all our German marketing activity. You will actively own the German content marketing and PR strategies to inspire potential customers to travel with DFDS on our routes to the Baltics, Nordics and United Kingdom.

The ideal candidate is fluent in German, has good knowledge of the German travel market, has a broad understanding of digital marketing, has a passion for content and can manage multiple projects at the same time.

Role description:

  • Manager role within passenger marketing that reports to the Head of Campaign Marketing & Brand.
  • Support delivery of German targets across passenger routes
  • Coordination of German initiatives and campaigns.
  • Develop and drive country specific content marketing strategy.
  • Develop the passenger brand across routes in the German market, including PR, sponsorships and CSR initiatives.
  • Lead for German PR agency.
  • Lead for Creative agencies.
  • German Growth owner, managing a cross functional agile team developing German opportunities.
  • Provide language and cultural support across route agile marketing teams.

Profile: Skills, experience, education

  • Skilled marketing professional with 3+ years experience across the marketing mix.
  • Knowledge and deep understanding of the German travel industry.
  • Native German speaker
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Excellent knowledge of digital marketing
  • Profound knowledge of campaign management across digital channels

More than 70 marketeers are based throughout Europe at DFDS office locations in Newcastle, Dover, IJmuiden, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Oslo, Klaipeda, Dieppe, Tallinn and Paris.
