Make your mark on DFDS’s Data Governance
In the role as Team Lead for Data Governance, you will be responsible for setting the direction for data governance in DFDS together with your team and major stakeholders. Our current strategy has matured us as far as it can, and we need to reform and create new thrust and energy.
We have several major projects incl. an ERP roll-out running where we have a golden opportunity to have a major impact on data governance in DFDS. Our Finance Division will be among your major stakeholders on master data, and you will also work closely with our People Division, Legal and IT Security on GDPR, privacy and data protection. Your team will consist of 2 Data Governors, the Head of Group Master Data, and 25 master data analysts. You will have 2 direct reports and functional responsibility for the remainder. You will report to the Tribe Lead of the Core Enablers and be part of the leadership team in the tribe.

What we are looking for
We imagine that you have a deep understanding of how governance can enable rather than limit. We are looking for a structured leader that can rally the team and major stakeholders behind a clear vision. You have a background as a project and change manager and have successfully run data projects in large international organizations.
As the tasks often involve many different colleagues you also need to have strong stakeholder management skills.
You may have experience as a manager or this could be your first managerial position, but you are used to running teams as part of your project manager background. We will make sure you land well in your manager role whether you are new or experienced with dedicated training about what it means to be a leader in DFDS and guidance from your manager.
