Brand Marketing Manager, Nordic & Baltics

We are always focusing the performance of both our passenger business and our route & territory business. To reach our goal we must have strong brand awareness and consideration levels – partially through the implementation of effective media and branding activities. This of course is through an effective and motivated team who also deliver strong creative & copy for campaigns on time and as per requirements.

We are looking for a strong Brand Marketing Manager to ensure all of the above.


Your responsibilities

You will be leading a team of 5 brand marketing specialists from Copenhagen, Oslo, Tallinn and Klaipeda – managing the delivery of content, creative, film, photography and production services. This includes ensuring all content meets DFDS brand guidelines and given objectives.

Part of the responsibility is driving brand awareness activities across the Nordics and Baltics through offline media advertising, sponsorships, promotions & events. This also includes working with a range of media & creative agencies, translation agencies, freelance suppliers and other relevant partners.

To reach your goals, you will be working effectively and collaboratively with the Brand Marketing Manager for UK & Continent to ensure consistency and streamlined processes. Also, you’ll be working across different marketing functions to ensure brand activity is integrated with and supports other departments.


Your profile

You are a skilled marketing professional with 5+ years’ experience from working in different forms of media including content and design provision. You have experience of planning and delivering offline media campaigns, managing events, promotional activities and sponsorships plus advertising production.

Personally, you have strong leadership and people management skills – obviously with excellent communication and organizational skills, since DFDS is a rather complex organization. We’re also international, so excellent English is also a requirement.

A Marketing, Creative or Business degree or professional qualification is desirable along with experience in managing staff remotely would be advantageous.
