The Role… As a Field Based Business Development Manager, you will join the DFDS’ organization in the UK and be responsible for selling international transports and logistics solutions primarily between UK and Europe. You will have daily contact with various potential customers and via phone, email, and personal visits you will assess their logistics challenges and offer DFDS’ solutions. You will be part of a field sales team and report to our Commercial Director. This is an exciting position, and a great opportunity to join a successful team. You will be required to identify and generate new business opportunities for DFDS, through a proactive sales approach within your regional sales area.
Who we want… You will be an experienced Business Development Manager within the Road Transport Industry, with a proven Sales track record, and with expertise of cold calling and generating your own leads. Your focus will be on selling DFDS products and services from UK to Europe.
