Tableau Consultant

Our BI and Analytics department is a part of the digital organization and you will report to the BI Manager. At DFDS, we believe that digital technologies and the pace of their adoption are key driving forces in changing the ways that businesses work. Hence, both BI and Analytics are strategic important tools in the continued journey and success for DFDS. This position gives you a possibility to be part of a strategic important department with the empowerment to influence the way business work and offers you an excellent opportunity to further build your data visualization comptences.

The role is at our headquarters in Nordhavn (Copenhagen) and you will be part of an experienced and dedicated team of 14 colleagues in our Business Intelligence and Analytics department.

The Role

You will play an important role in pushing the agenda of self-service analytics and visual analytics and work with many of our different business areas (logistics, freight shipping, terminals, finance, procurement, passenger traveling, customer insights, ship management, HR and retailing). Our BI platform is primarily based on the Microsoft BI platform and Tableau.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and analyze user requirements

• Design and build large and complex Tableau solutions

• Train and inspire members of our Tableau community and contribute to building and expanding the community and secure user adoption 

• Act as an advocate for Analytics Self-Service mindset in DFDS

Profile

• You hold a Master Degree in either IT, Finance or similar, or have other relevant academic background

• You are an expert in Tableau and you are capable of finding solutions to the most complex issues

• You are a passionate advisor on how to support the business in obtaining more insights in data in order to make the right decisions

• You have exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities and you enjoy working in an agile and dynamic environment

• Fluent proficiency in English is a requirement

Currently uou might be working as a Tableau Consultant or Analytics and you desire to dedicate yourself completely to Tableau.
